Presentation Details :

Presenter: Jeff Hofer

Jeff joined the Avenue One team as the Development Manager after spending two years with General Motors’ Treasury Department.  Before GM, Jeff earned his Master’s degree from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and an Architectural Engineering degree from the University of Nebraska’s Peter Kiewit Institute, graduating top of his class. Jeff’s unique combination of building, management, and finance experience is helping bring the 200-acre mixed-use Avenue One development to life. Jeff and his wife Maddie have two daughters. Their family enjoys golfing, hunting, hiking, and anything outdoors.

Avenue One Development

Avenue One is a 200-acre mixed-use development on 192nd & Dodge.  The land took 20 years to assemble, 5 years to entitle, and will take 10 years to build out. When fully built, Avenue One will have 2,100 residential units, 600k sqft of retail, 1.1M sqft of Office/Civic/Medical, and 215 hotel rooms.  Avenue One will also be the location of one of Omaha’s first Diverging Diamond Interchanges.  The presentation will review master planning concepts used, unique engineering problems encountered, and provide insight on how developers think about mixed-use development.
