Presentation Details :

Presenter: Eric Williams

Beltline Trail Presentation

The Papio-Missouri River NRD has partnered with public agencies around the Omaha metropolitan area to build over 130 miles of trails. A partnership between the NRD and City of Omaha is now carrying out the long-discussed conversion of a rail corridor to a comprehensive trail project know as the Beltline Trail. Following the abandoned industrial rail line through North Omaha, multiple phases of the project will connect from Hamilton Street at Military Ave up to the North Omaha Transit Center near 30th & Ames. Eric will provide an update about the phases of the Beltline Trail, and highlights from other trail projects around the metro. Below is a link to the Beltline Trail Master Plan.
